Commercial Recreation Specialists - Strategic Planning

In 2018, CRS was looking for a manager to come in and grow their Project Division. CRS had some strong vendor relationships and people, but lacked processes and systems. Ryan was brought in and grew the division nearly 400% by 2024 by introducing more consistent processes, utilization of key systems (CRM), getting the right people on the bus, and expanding the products and territories through key vendor management.

Later, CRS was experiencing rapid growth coming out of the pandemic. The company was growing beyond its systems and infrastructure. After hearing about EOS and reading Traction by Gino Wickman, Ryan led the initiative to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System in 2023 to improve organizational structure, direction, alignment, and communication. CRS moved Ryan into a new role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, had record sales in 2024, and hired an Integrator (COO) and Marketing Director in 2025.
